AI for communes and public services

Communes and cantonal services receive more requests every year with the same team. We build AI that helps with citizen enquiries, forms and internal knowledge, with people approving every decision. Our mandates are small and clearly defined, which keeps procurement simple.

What slows you down today

  • Repeated citizen questions

Waste collection dates, opening hours, permits, registration and tax deadlines. The counter and the phone answer the same questions every day, in more than one language.

  • Forms and applications

Applications arrive on paper, as PDFs and by email, and are often incomplete. Staff check each one by hand and write back to ask for missing information.

  • Regulations hard to search

Communal regulations, cantonal directives and internal procedures are spread across many documents. Finding the right rule for a case takes time, especially for new staff.

Citizen enquiries for a mid-sized commune

Starting point
A bilingual commune of about 8,000 inhabitants answers many phone calls and emails each week about waste, permits, registration and deadlines. The administration has not grown with the population.
What we build
A website assistant answers in German and French from the commune's own pages and regulations, hosted in Switzerland. Questions it cannot answer go to the right department as a structured request.
Expected result
We would expect a noticeable share of routine enquiries, typically 20 to 40 percent, to be answered online, with every answer traceable to an official source.

Questions and answers

Our packages have fixed prices and clear scopes, so most first projects fall within direct award thresholds. For larger projects we provide the declarations and documents public procurement requires and can answer tenders on simap.ch.
